چکیده

We extend Ehrhard Regnier's di erential linear logic along the lines of Laurent's polarization. We provide a denotational semantics of this new system in the well-known relational model of linear logic, extending canonically the semantics of both di erential and polarized linear logics: this justi es our choice of cut elimination rules. Then we show this polarized di erential linear logic re nes the recently introduced convolution λ̄μ-calculus, the same as linear logic decomposes λ-calculus.

Three schemes for linearizing the transconductance of the basic di erential pair in subthreshold CMOS are examined: 1) multiple asymmetric di erential pairs, 2) source degeneration via symmetric di usors, and 3) source degeneration via a single di usor. First order neutral di¤erential equations are studied and su‰cient conditions are derived for every solution to be oscillatory. Our approach is to reduce the oscillation of neutral di¤erential equations to the nonexistence of eventually positive solutions of non-neutral di¤erential inequalities.
